When I do my workout at night I put that shit on repeat.  Rocket Skates is great!  To me it sounds like a completely new deftones.  Haters will eventually see the light.

I like the music of the song its classic deftones greatness, I think I just expected the greatest single ever after waiting all this time I really feel like a heretic among deftone fans for not like the song its not horrible its just lacking something to me

dude if Eros was that amazing I honestly think they would have released it.  I dont think Chi's accident was the only reason its wasn't released.

very true dude!  I see you point!  I just kinda got that feeling from an interview I read a couple months ago.  I cant remember which one it was, but It sounded like Eros wasn't their best work.  I really hope we get to hear it one day.  That intro to the instudio clips that they posted for a couple of weeks a while back sounded so sick.

haha exactly, BQ&D is also one of my favorites to run too.  The deftones just kick ass.

After further review, I think the song is good but not great. The lyrics are an improvement from most of the stuff on SNW and those two interchanging riffs are monstrous. However, the song gets repetitive. I wish the bridge/break had a different riff or something.

the song is a bit of a copy paste of verse and chorus.It is a good song and has a great vibe. but I believe they could have put a little bit more effort into it.

deftones are really clever this time, i like the song as it is...no need any different riff on this track..they already done it so many times at adrenalin and on the others..

Thats funny, Deftones workout music!!  I have to admit it is good to workout to, the energy of the song gets me pumped!  Yeah, I think we will see a lot of haters change their minds. I mean, it happens with every single album.  Everyone hated ATF because it was "nu-metal baby Korn" then they hated WP because it wasnt ATF and it was too "commercial" then they hated S/T because it was a bad follow up to WP(which I admit to hating it at first), ironically the haters started appreciating WP and then when SNW came out it they picked apart every single song like it was an episode of American Idol and they were Simon.  Now there is an overwelming appreciation for SNW all of a sudden on this board... i guess thats just how Deftones music is... it gets better with age and grows on you
