It's probably because of how rough it is on his voice live, he does it on a crosses song because he knows will only have to sing that song live for fuckall shows it was a Deftones song he would be singing that for years, like he said with kny when they wrote the songs they were thinking what's it going to be like performing this in ten years.

The song is ok, Too reminiscent of Bermuda locket for my taste. It has some really nice parts, though.

After one listen it's pretty decent but I can't say much more than that about it.  The ending is cool and unexpected.  When Face Goes Pale or something as good better be on this.

Option stands easily as the best Crosses song.

For me Option, Theholyghost and Prurient are their best songs. But this one doesn't stay too far and that ending is totally unexpected and way too good.

Unlucky you didn't get in earlier all the stems had download enabled when they where first put up, they're definitely floating around for download elsewhere though and there's tons of ways of getting them like using recording or soundcloud rippers

Anyway, the previous one, I love the sound of that one, can't wait to hear it. My favourites are thhlyghst, Prurient and trophys, so this one's quite a bit different to the ones I'm drawn to the most.
