Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, WaterTower Music and DC Entertainment have announced the release of BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY - THE ALBUM, which will be released in conjunction with the forthcoming videogame BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY.

This companion album features 12 all-new original tracks from COHEED AND CAMBRIA, SERJ TANKIAN, PANIC! AT THE DISCO, THE DAMNED THINGS, DAUGHTRY, and more.

Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez said, "I write in a very conceptual format with the stories that surround Coheed and Cambria, but Batman has a much larger, defined history and rules that go along with it. My goal was to find universal themes from Batman's existing history to help give the lyrics legs and dimension so that the song could live within that world."

The record hits streets on October 4th, just ahead of the game's October 18th release. A deluxe edition of the album features a bonus track and a DLC code for additional content. Check out the tracklisting:

1. Panic! At The Disco - Mercenary
2. Coheed and Cambria - Deranged
3. The Duke Spirit - Creature
4. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Shadow On The Run
5. Blaqk Audio - Afterdark
6. The Raveonettes - Oh, Stranger
7. † † † (Crosses) - The Years
8. The Damned Things - Trophy Widow
9. Daughtry - Drown In You
10. The Boxer Rebellion - Losing You
11. Serj Tankian - Total Paranoia

*Bonus Collector's Edition track
12. A Place to Bury Strangers - In The Shadow

Why is there a crosses release on Warner. I thought they were independent from all that

Because they're allowed to choose who sells their stuff.

Someone in the know I guess. Who cares as long as they keep giving us some foresight into these things.

He's not Chino.

My guess would be Warner Bros or Velvet Hammer.

I couldn't agree more - it gets better with every listen!
Your remix is awesome - good job!!!!!!!!!

To change the subject - I was just wondering how Crosses were getting their EP noticed.
I only heard about Crosses because of an interview I watched on Youtube.
Then I found out that an EP had been releases after the fact, but only because I visited this forum.
For the more casual Deftones fan or even those who are not fans, how is the band getting word of their EP out there?
It's not even mentioned on the Deftones website,
I told a lot of my friends about it, they never knew it even existed but ended up loving it.
It just seems a pity because the music is really good and more people should know about it.
Even though Chino never disappoints in anything he's involved with, I was really surprised by this EP - it was even better than I expected it to be!
Chino is really very underrated as a songwriter.
He is a master of beautiful, unexpected melodies time after time after time!

asshole

I love me some Vinyl.

"During "The Years", Crosses strikes the perfect balance between The Cure's hazy rock hypnosis and a calculated modern glitch-infused doom-saying. Chino Moreno sounds utterly pristine as keyboards resound, bleeding out with him."

KERRANG really don't know shit to be honest. I do appreciate the few occasions they do a piece about someone I like, but for the most part they just publish fad shit.
