also you should change the end part of  ''iceache'' song...cuz its the 1st version that you made, you should listen the  last version

Well actually the one that I made was based on the re-vamped one that was made, if you listen to it it sounds a bit like chino did the entire song without stopping, kind of making it seem the way he sounds when he's singing live and if you listen closely you can hear the guitar sounding like it does in that version at the end but the only problem with my music maker program is that when you add a distortion to the guitar midi it won't let you put the volume up past a certain decible so trying to make a guitar sound like  "My own summer" where it's just hard hitting and loud like a normal heavy metal song is almost impossible. If I had my own guitar and actually knew how to play then I would record it like that but I'm stuck with the limitations of the program midi boards. That's why none of my songs have any really hard hitting guitar parts because the program only let's me do so much. If you went to my page and listened to mascara that's about the hardest I could get the guitar midi to sound. But the original is sort of like that, it's hard but not My Own Summer hard. As far as Combat is concerned, I have considered it but I have so many other projects going I don't want to stop them and try something new just yet. I'm trying to do street carp right now and making it sound hard but with the midi board limitations it's proving to be very difficult. I've kind of turned it into an ambient acoustic sounding track with some distorted guitar but it's difficult turning a song like that into something more mellow, but we will see.

What did you use to make these?
I've been using Magix Music Maker programs for years now. I've tried others like "Reason" or "Cakewalk" but I like the operating system on magix. I've been using it for about 8 years now and I'm still learning new tricks everytime I use it.

Funny you should ask that. I did a few years ago but the magix music maker programs were not as advanced as they are now, and they didn't have the midi boards that they do. They only had synth and drum and bass boards a few years ago, the past 2 versions I've gotten however made an entire orchestra, ranging from guitar to bass, to acoustic guitar, to several dum kits and even string, woodwind, and percussion instruments in case I wanted to Mozart it up a bit (Chino Quote: "It's classical, anyway!") as far as completing it, it's nowhere near fruition! But I'm working on it.

What about Digital Bath and Pink Maggit, dude ? They are my favorite Deftones' songs, I'd love to hear them with your own touch, have you ever worked on these ?

It's funny you say that, That's what I thought as well but I had bought my first version when I was overseas in 2003 (I'm a Marine), I was on a military installation in Spain and I went to the PX and there it was, magix music maker 10. I bought it and started using it and it was ok at first but I had no recording equipment and it only really let you make techno/trance type music back then. I was stuck on ship for 8 months and it was all I had to keep me occupied so I got used to it and if you ever listened to all of my music in chronological order you'd notice how the music would improve over time. It wasn't until late 2005 when I re-enlisted into the marine corps that I took my bonus money and bought a new version of the pogram as well as a professional 6 chanel mixing board and beta 57 recording/live microphone. And started making more rock oriented music with vocals, but of course I was still learning how to use the board and it took about 2 years to get the music to sound the way it does now. I had actually did my cover of Ice ache over 2 years ago but it sounded shitty because of the crappy midi boards they had. But now with the updated boards and better sound quality you have this newer version I did. Several of my tributes had the same situation until the past year and now they sound 10 times better.

i like the first version of team sleeps ice ache, but i love the second version from the broyhill demos.the one with the different base line and screams in it. it almost is worthy a spot on a deftones record
