They should tour the world together with the albums! Could be really great.
2 asskicking bands with almost the same roots, and they have alot in common.
And no other sucking supportbands, or maybe Limp Bizkit. Their new album is almost done too!
And as it seems, all the bands are returning to the roots, especially korn.

Fuck that shit. Deftones do not belong on the same level with those 2 bands. Korn has been releasing shit and LB is like the return of the living dead.
Deftones should make his own headlining tour and not tour with any of those shitty bands.

I know Nu-metal isnt even a genre. It was back in the 90´s a way to separate modern metal band from sleaze shit from the 80´s.
Im pretty sure Deftones count´s as "new metal" when they came. It was new and fresh and definitely not a sleaze-metal band, and they´re are not hardcore.
the nu-metal word isnt working today cuz everything is modern metal. But it was one time.
LB, korn and deftones are all different bands, but they came the same time. And they we´re sticking together. And they´re still friends, just look at the Chi Song Fieldy made, and Fred Durst love´s deftones and send a get well card to chi.
Of course things have changed since the beginning of the 90´s, but i think that tour should be cool. And it would sell a lot of tickets.

Slipknot is like the biggest poserband around right now, and all cool kids are going around with slipknot t-shirts, and they are on mtv far more than any of all bands we´re talking about?... And for the second? Do you not think that the tones care´s about the money?
Music is their job! It´s their thing they do for living. Just because they arent that big and commercial mainstream like Linkin Park, it doesnt mean that they are playing for free and living on the streets like hobo´s.

1st what's the benefit for Deftones do tour with korn or LB when they get the album released???the Tones wouldn't headline the tour and that makes no sense since by that time what they should do is to do an headline tour for that record...2nd as you see most deftones fans don't have much respect for band's like korn and limpbizkit so it would that would be a turn off...like when they toured with metalica...most of the people that went to the show's went to see metalica and not deftones...I remember even seeing the guys from mudvayne being frustrated about playing for a crowd that didn't care about them in the afternoon. 3d Me personally I rather see them touring with a new band opening for them, I think it would be cool if bands like Kaospilot would open for the Deftones, or maybe M83 since apparently they made a colab on the new record.

But they aren't like Korn who makes more albums super back to back, Why do you think Korn does that? The reason they have no videos on their channel is because Warner Brothers and Youtube had an issue.. so they took all their videos down, Metallica's youtube is the same way

Deftones are defiantly on a league of their own but they did start of with the Limp Bizkit and Korn guys. It's their roots as much as you people don't want it to be true. They separated themselfs to get away from that scene which is why I love them and hey they toured with Linkin Park on the Back 2 School tour....

That being said I despise Linkin Park. That is MTVmetal.
