perhaps, everytime i've seen it they cut off right before the solo and play 7 words. i just don't think it would work out so well. there's not many deftones songs (if any) i could imagine having a solo in it.

he's also done solos on "answers" a deftones demo from like 89 or 90. "i feel fine" butchering the beatles, & "unidose" a sol invicto track. so there's a few. never on a deftones album though. i'd love it if he did a few, or even just 1. i mean a song like rocketskates would be cool with some shredding. yada. i mean, anything, it's just so predictable that he wont that it's insane. it would be cool for him to do it for the different element it would give the song, & the fact that it would be a major suprise & anything but predictable. even if it's just on 1 song on an album, & that's it & never again. it's the elephent in the room & it needs to be delt with, happen & over with

This is gonna sound vague but I remember seeing in one of my bootlegs Stef trying to play the "Say it ain't so" and he was starting the 'hard' part when he missed some notes and stoped and Chino was like "WOW WOW" they were all like surprised that he actually tried.

I guess its from 2000 or 2003.. I dont remember.
