I saw this on wikipedia about an hour ago, but now it's been removed:.  What do you guys make of it? -

On October 13th 2009, in Portland, OR, Deftones premiered a song from the brand new untitled album called Rocket Skates. The video arrived on Youtube shortly after. It was later revealed in an interview by the band that the new album is going to be titled "Sacrificial Secrets", Chino ellbaorated on the title saying "We wanted to name this album something wierd but makes sense and something that just sounds different." He also stated what the title means: "Its based on when you accidentaly find something out about someone that no one else knows and its something deep and serious, but then certain people get suspicious of you so basicaly you must rat the other persons secret out to save yourself; I dont know why but I just find that subject interesting." The band also stated "as far as eros goes, that album is pretty much shelved, Who knows when it will be released cuz we dont(Chino Laughs) I mean it could be another year it could be another two years, we just dont know for now."

Possibly BS?? I think so!

The way it's writen doesn't seem like a hoax to me.  But if this was said by chino and the guys last Tuesday I would have thought it would be elsewhere on the net, but can't see anywhere else.

Really? I think its more than clear that its a hoax. With no sources listed and a great amount of grammitical errors its clear that the article is a fake.

Hell_Tanner

Take everything written on wikipedia, especially "news", with a grain a salt.

Bad title by the way.

Far away

i didnt like this tittle.. =s
but like Jorge said.. anyone can write an article there..

True... And there wasn't any interview where such things were told, else we would know about it....    :)
