Most insane moments at a Deftones show?

Chino calling that dude an asshole had me thinking: what are the most insane moments at a Deftones show? U-Fest and Waldrock are the two big ones. Chino pwning a bunch of lame Kiss fans was also hilarious. What are some other great moments?

Cool thread Inkblades. I've been to 13 shows and I honestly cant remember anything too out of the ordinary. but in oklahoma chino came down in the crowd to sing hexagram like he always does and i was in the front row. He accidently drilled me in the face with the mic when he was standing on the guard rail. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. After he finished singing the song he gave me a high five and said my bad. I just smiled and said all good. At the time I thought It was the coolest thing ever haha. I had a black eye for like 2 days. Not quite an insane moment tho.

For me it was Waldrock, I was there and I was pretty pissed at Chino for fucking up so much.

Yup, I was there. I only shot some pics. This was just before the digital camera era. Would have loved to see some footage

I've been to just a couple of deftones shows but nothing too crazy has happened.

But, one time after a show in Houston..we got to meet the band members (after buying their album again for $20). I was on the phone with my then girlfriend at the time, when it was my turn to meet Chino and the boys I didn't get off the phone, shook Chino's hand and whatnot and he got irked or something because after I passed him up he's like "Man, who you on the phone with?", and told him it was my girl and asked if he wanted to talk to her and he did for a few seconds before he got mobbed by more fans.

She got me back like a few weeks later when they went to NY and I got to talk to Stef on the phone for a minute or two..pure freshness.

Nothing unusual happened in both shows I saw. But I have some funny moments I always remember:

- Chino's pants going down to his knees in that show in 98 (Netherlands i think). I laughed a lot the first time I watched the video.
- During Pinkpop 2006 when Chino came to sing Around the fur in the crowd and this guy in the audience stole his hat. Chino was so smashed that he said: You disgusting little boy! And suddenly his hat appeared. Lol.

I think it was Pinkpop 2003, wasn't it ? Then he quoted WGTB and told to the guy " Something's wrong with you, and I hope we never do meet again ".

oh btw another funny thing just popped in my head.. I dont have any info on the date/venue but I remember when Chino went to the stage wearing a Michael Myers mask. I think someone in the board posted a pick or a video link, back in the time. Funny as hell.

I just remember this, at the moment, during the gig at Bicentiennal Park, in 2000 ( is it at Miami ? ), during one song, I'd say Korea, Stef took the mike and started giving bad words at a bad mosher. He was like: " What the fuck are you doing useless motherfucker ? We've told you you had to take care of each other and you just keep being an asshole ! Now get this guy up and stop being a fucking prick ! "

That's the jist of what he said, not exactly what he said.

I"ve done a quick overview, and I was wrong, it was during 7 Words, just before second chorus. They had gone through several mosh problems during the whole gig, Stef was probably fed up with that and that's what provoked this unusal reaction of his. He walked through the whole stage, grabbed a mic, and told:

" What the fuck, asshole ?! Are you fucking stupid, what have we fucking told you ?! I see you from here and if I COULD fuck you up, I WOULD ! " Not exactly what he told and missed some parts 'cause I can't understand everything.
