They aren't gonna sit on their arses all day waiting for Chi to wake up. The situation is bad, we all know it's bad it's fucked but Chi wouldn't want the band just sitting around wasting their dollar on online poker. So they are writing an album with the Quicksand guy and will probably release that next year. And when Chi is all better again they will release the album where Chi is playing bass. Sounds ok to me. All you cunts are just too hard to please. Give up being a Deftones fan if it pisses you off that much...

More power to the Deftones. If they feel this is historic (Eros) and they want to wait for the perfect moment to release it, I'm fine with that. That really means more Deftones music in the future. It's a bit tiresome to sit and wait especially knowing Eros could have been released, but hey, we've been waiting for a while anyway.

You know what this tells me? The album must have sucked. We've only heard the one song, but it didn't even sound that great (like RatsRatsRats 2) and just wasn't impressive. So now I believe this is a clear indication that Eros probably just wasn't that good.

I find it really odd that they would pull the album and not release it. Why can't they release it now for the summer and then try to release another album in the fall? Not to mention how much money is this costing Chi and his family to not have the new album. I'm going to assume that Vega will receive the proceeds of sales of the new album and tour...while chi sits in a coma getting nothing. That is VERY shitty to me.

If you have a job, and dont go to work for  a whole week straight... do you get paid for that week? No. so fuck off with the "this sucks that Chi gets no money" thing.

No idiot, he recorded an entire album that the band decided not to release while he's in a coma. That means he doesn't get any money from sales of the album, because THEY chose not to release it. He put in his work time, writing and recording...and now it's not being released. How is that his fault?
