 Honestly, I don't know how the fuck they get the screaming vocal effect on this song. It sounds so otherworldly. There's definitely a hint of distortion but there's something else that completely transforms that sound. The chorus is probably a ring modulator styled effect or a step phase both of which are similar to each other.
