I'm probably being naive right now, but don't you think the photos they posted, the ones of the old albums flags, the master recordings, etc., have something to do with the upcoming live shows? Maybe they'll pay tribute to their records, use the flags, and stuff? I can't see another reason why they'd have done that. Except just for the lulz, of course.

That's also what I was thinking. The whole a record a night idea or something like that, retrospective stuff. But after just completing an album and the tour starting so soon, it doesn't seem like enough time to prepare for something of that scale. I mean that's a lot of songs to get familiar with again for a tour. Especially one that's not even a headlining tour.

the 'performing in full' album nostalgia trip tours are pretty big right now

I'd be surprised that they would do it right around the time of a new album release though

Would make more sense if they were in a state of deep hibernation (in a song writing sense at least) akin to A Perfect Circle.

I'd be so gay for that though. If they do it, it will be for a small run of west-coast dates to get them warmed up though, IMO.
