wrong, wp leaked april 26 and released june 20 = that's 56 days

d.e leaked march 19 and was released may 4 = that's 47 days

Diamond Eyes was supposed to be released May 18th though. It was brought forward to May 4th due to the leak.

So really it leaked 61 days before it's final scheduled release date.

Yeah, I remember listening to White Pony long before release.. my brother had it burnt to a cd and it had BTS on it.

Jesus. Bet that took ages to Download. I remember trying to download Will Haven's 'If She Could Speak' and it taking about 3 hours for that one track (probably had the worst connection though).

Now an mp3 downloads in 4 seconds.

Maybe they are purely going in to see what they've got locked up in storage on a nostalgia trip..

maybe they are planning a small album retrospective tour (they are quite popular at the moment) for before or after the S.O.A.D. dates just to get back into the roll of touring.. sheeeiiiiiiiiiiit.

ok, i'm getting confused. on another note, I still wonder why they're not more careful with the material. as I understand it, the record often leaks when they send it over to writers and critics so that those people can review it which means the record gets hyped. can't they wait to send the music all around, wait til right after the album is released? the deftones fans will buy it the day it drops regardless of any reviews and those who buy it because of reviews can do so maybe a week later. like steph said, the label is so focused on the first week's sales. but if a record leaks months before i do think some people who get it so long before might not buy it once it's out

Back to talking about Team Sleep... If they truly are going to make new music, the question is will it be as good if not better than the original Team Sleep album... I only say this cause Chino has changed so much, it might not be as dark as the original.

Let's face it, not knowing the amount of time frm the date of a leak to the date of the album release says more about math skills than interest in a band.

Also, all of this sense of nostalgia is kinda weird. Do they usually do this or is this a slight hint for what's to come?
