Hey everyone (except musings),  im just curious. What would you want to hear first: Live or studio version of the new single? 

live first is cool because you get a pretty good feel of how it will sound on the album, and there's always the good chance the studio version will blow that away..so you're still left with something to look forward to, as if you still haven't really heard the song. However, sometimes album versions are overdone, or lack the energy of the live version. But who the fuck am I kidding, give me the studio version first.

were you into the tones when they played beware live before the snw release? that live version sounded way different than the studio version - very misleading. probably will be a live version we get first this time too but personally i want to hear a studio version first,that's the way deftones themselves think the song should sound like.live and studio usually differ, and if the live version sounds bad, then it's sad that we don't get to hear a top notch version the first time we get introduced to new material. if the song sounds better live than the studio song, then we get sad that the live vibe isn't there on the album.so yeah, studio version!

yep, got introduced to them in the ATF era. I remember when they played Beware on some UK radio show that streamed online, and Chino had to have been on speed or adderall at least haha. Talkin a mile a minute, some funny shit.
