True true... I did see a noticable lack of instagram photos from them lately too.. I guess it makes sense with them going on tour at the end of summer... Hopefully we'll hear something new soon, kinda like with Rocket Skates.

I don't know about a single before the tour but we'll probably hear a new song on the road and then get a studio version of it a few weeks after that.

Of course a friend of the band will say that it sounds good, just weird behavior to select just one element like this. if he wants to hype and advertise for the record,why not say that everything sounded great.that's all

he did say everything sounded great. and as a vocalist i'm sure he was just complementing chino. you think he'd review it in one sentence and be like "just listened to some of the new deftones album, the synths and keys are incredible!" ?? the vocals are one of the more prominent aspects of music...

where? what's posted here and in twitter is that chino sounded great. greg's one of the first persons outside the band that heard new shit and spoke out in media about it..so he should know that a there's a lot of eyes on what he says when it comes to a thing like this. so,why not praise the whole thing? not a big deal,just that I in his position would handle it in another way. "vocalist to another vocalist" - he didn't text chino and said it, he said it to the world and that's why he shouldn't single out just one member
