It's ridiculous what you can get away with a Wal-Mart.  I have a friend that works there and he tells me all kinds of crazy stuff.  He exchanges his guitar hero controllers after they've worn out.  He's done that four times so far.  We've also bought a blender just to use it for New Year's and then returned it the next day.

i used to take items off the shelf and then bring them directly to the return desk and they would give me store credit without a receipt.  Also you can buy car speakers, put your trashed ones in the box and return them.  Come to think of it, they will basically take anything you give them
