heh, that reminds me of when Deftones played at the Hultsfred festival here in Sweden back in 2000 (or was it 2001?). I wasn't a fan back then, but I watched the interview they did before the show on TV and then watched the first song or two, then switched channels because I didn't like the music. a year later I fell in love with them

I wasn't a fan back then, but I watched the interview they did before the show on TV and then watched the first song or two, then switched channels because I didn't like the music. a year later I fell in love with them

yeah it was in 2000,i was there, couple of days before white pony was released, but everyone already got the record on the net because it leaked in april.think the interview was after the show cause chino talked about how nuts the audience was. steph wore a "three crowns" t-shirt, the national symbol for sweden, kinda cool i thought.

Gotta admit that the sound guy for Hulfstred Festival was an asshole, you can't hear Stef at all nor Chino's guitar.

Yeah he must have been high. Chi's base domianted the whole thing,especially at the beginnging. They turn up stef's guitar a little more towars the middle and the end but i know...  dont think the sound guy got to be employe of the week
