Deftones Screen Saver...

Hi all,  I created this screen saver that displays the images that were once hosted at http://deftones.com/, this is the stand alone version, no stream



1. Install "Deftones Web Setup.exe" follow instuctions and allow to install in it's default directory.
2. copy and paste the other two files in the folder to C/Program Files/Deftones Web.
3. right click on your desktop and select "personalization" on vista or "properties"on XP, select defly 1 as your screen saver and click preview, if you need to install flash it will let you know, you may have to run through a 1 time set up, there after, you will not be prompted to click anything, the screen saver will be activated.

really? what OS are you running?, mine is running on XP, ill have to try it on vista when i get a chance, i been using it at work, it is streaming from the deftones site too, don't know if you have something preventing the stream?

has anyone installed on vista?

yeah installed it on Vista but just one pic of Frank nothing changing apart from a few areas but no other pic is showing obviously

maybe u have to uninstall your linkin park screen saver first?

i'm using Vista and I only see the black screen with the legends of Sign Up, Shop, Blogs and deftones... no photo of Frank or else... is there a photo supposed to be there??

yes there is supposed to be a slideshow, sorry man, this works best on XP, it mirrors the index page of deftones.com, I should have tested more prior to upload, however, the screensaver does work flawless on XP, I apologize for any inconvenience to vista users, I will do more research see if I can help more.

ohh yes, now i've seen some pictures.. i think that it's due to my internet connection that the images are taking time to load, because also when i enter the deftones page, no images, until some time elapsed...
and when i am in a place with a better internet connection, the images are showing as they have to be..

so, thanks again fro your work man! well done!

edit_ i was in scool, with a better internet connection and got those images and this:

and i have windows vista home premium (english version) btw. so it works fine to me.

and now it doesn't works anymore.. is because they updated deftones page?
is there a way to fix it?

Ill look in to this, you know how the dialog box pops up? hit enter until it goes away and the site will display, I know thats no way to use a screen saver so ill see if I can come up with a solution.  I was actually going to record the previous site with the sideshow pictures and create a stand alone screen saver but they beat me to it, they had already posted the new site.

Yes, it's a dialog of Internet Explorer Script Error... and yes, I've pressed Enter until i got the official page...
I'll be waiting, patiently (jaja) for a solution if you can... cuz i also wanted to save/keep all the images and the day i was about to do it... bam!! the page had gone!!
