For the first time ever, THE BAMBOOZLE LEFT will be auctioning off one of the festival's most coveted spots: an appearance on the Main Stage.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the One Love for Chi foundation to aid in the ongoing medical care of Deftones bass player, Chi Cheng. The winning band will be awarded a 25 minute time slot on the Bamboozle Left Main Stage, Sunday April 5th from 2:00 PM - 2:25PM at the Festival Grounds at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. This is a tremendous opportunity to share the stage with Deftones, 50 Cent, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, The Used, Shwayze, The Vandals, Saosin, Ignite, B.o.B, Emmure, The Bled, The Adolescents, and many, many,more!. The auction begins today, Friday March 27th at 3PM PST and ends Wednesday, April 1st at 3 PST.

yep - i am so excited... hell maybe i should even go up to $100K or more on the minimum goal! all the funds raised on oneloveforchi.com is going to go to his current care (not his $750K+ bill) so that means additional therapy and more.

Deftones should release some soundboard audio or prof. camera visuals for this upcoming show or past events ( via the interweb ) with benefits going to Chi's cause.  I dont know how the record company they are signed to or the people sponsering the shows would feel about it ...but they cant be that much of a dick ...can they?   

there is so many possibilites the band and all in control can do or atleast try...

ya i agree.. what is great is that the money raised via oneloveforchi.com is going to go to his current care/therapy. many have been worried it would have to go towards his unpaid hospital bills ($750K+)
