Yeah watcher...i WAS asleep..slept a good 10 hours
before which i went to the edge of a cliff overlooking a valley 3 hours away from my city to watch the full moon ie 30%birghter, closest in 15 years and brightest in 2009 over the weekend....where me and 3 friends had an amazing mushie trip, made a bonfire, bathed in the lake and ate village food : )
I'm back now.

I want to tell you guys what I've been doing and this seems like an appropriate place..
Last thursday i took photographs of a muslim festival called 'muharram' and covered the 'matam' part of it.

I walked down a street for 3 hours with a procession barefoot in the sun and came home with blood on my feet arms and face that wasn't mine. It was an intense experience and something I've never done before.
I saw kids doing this which was shocking and decided to cover kids doing matam and make whoever sees this aware of whats happening around the world..
