You see the problem is LP is/was way overplayed, and they've definitely gone downhill after Meteora, and even that was mediocre.  I dunno, just lost a lot of respect for them since the Jay-Z shit, their crappy "cover" of My own Summer, Chester ripping Bono off, fuck the list goes on.

I never said he was a bad singer or that LP was the only thing he worked on, I wish you fools would stop putting words in my mouth.

- they made a remix album to ht...that was ok..
- then they made ''meteora'' album which is completly copy of HT.....they've become pop-mtv culture
- live in texas...they think we would though thats their real voices..
- then they made another remix album with mudhafucka rock-killer jay-z....that was just shit.
- mtm album was the last..and its soft....its just ok..

result : lp sucks now but hybrid theory album still rocks..

Mellow/Grunge rock, and very far from what he's doing in Linkin Park. I think that you'll find him less " annoying " singing in the way he was in Grey Daze. Or maybe not, who knows. If you still " hate " him, so be it, everyone has his own tastes, man. I'm still convinced that Chester was, from 1999 to 2006, a really talented singer, that's all. To me, it's not just " ok ". Remixes of In the end and Points of authority had some style, the ones of My December, Pushing Me Away and Crawling were really sweet to hear. As for the others, maybe they were less good but still good to me.

There are a lot of things that are the same between HT and Meteora, but not all. Breaking the Habit, Faint, From The Inside, Session, Numb, Don't Stay and Somewhere I belong have something that wasn't on HT. Don't ask me what it is.

All LP's concerts are natural... If you listen well, you'll be able to hear some mistakes. Why would they have let the mistakes if that weren't their real voices, then ?

It's not a question of naught, it's just that with the high notes, on the original track, you can hear in his voice a rougher addition than in the actual performances. That's what's killing your voice.

I wouldn't say perfect but he was really good, indeed. I think he never totally recovered from his vocal chords injury and his weight was a real problem.
