I had the most intense and wonderful dream about Chi early this morning.

He had been released from the hospital and was allowed to be cared for at what was apparently a family member's home. The house was full of people, young and old, all friends and family of Chi. I was allowed to go inside where he was lying on a special bed that was basically on the floor which cradled his head to protect it. I walked up to him, kneeled at his side, held his hand for a very long time and told him how much of an inspiration him and his music are to me. I was lucky enough to say that to him in real life just a couple of summers ago when I met the band after their set here in Rochester, so I guess that's probably why I chose those words to say to him in my dream.

Anyway, he looked right into my eyes and was able to smile from ear to ear and just nodded his head. I started talking to him and he could respond with one word answers! I remember telling him that Germany is my favorite soccer club, then I asked him what his was, and I'm pretty sure he said "Malaysia!". Haha! I also remember talking to his mother who was sitting near us (though she didn't look like she actually does, she resembled a member of my family who passed away recently) and telling her how much her son means to so many people around the world. I asked Chi if he listened to all of the letters that people sent to Gina and he began nodding wildly with a huge smile on his face. The dream seemed to last for an extremely long time, I never remember having a dream that vivid last for more than a few seconds. To top it all off, before I left, I helped him to his feet and he took a few steps before sitting dow in a big green recliner all on his own!

I still can't believe how  realistic this dream was. I remembered to ask about Gina, the letters, and repeated what I had told him in real life a couple of years ago. It felt so real and amazing.

I hope everyone can feel a little bit of inspiration just by reading about my dream. I pray everyday that it's going to come true and that Chi will be able to smile, laugh, speak, and rock again!

Hey Gina, I've just read Momma J's last blog, great one once again btw, and apparently there's more and more talk about taking Chi back home for the rest of his treatment. Yet, I still wonder about that skull flap thing. What's up with that? Are they going to put it back on at last?

Hey Gina,
Did you ever consider the possibility of sending some shirts along with the tones when they are going on tour to Europe? I'm sure they will sell them in no time and you don't have to worry about shipping and stuff.

Might be a good idea....
Yes, I can imagine

the skull has to be fixed before he goes home right? is there plans for that soon?

oneloveforchi

hey all..

you guys are so fucking awesome.. i swear... really wow!

anyway... ya chi's sister mae just sent me a new blog to post and you can view it here.. she talks about the bone flap issue as well.. http://oneloveforchi.com/index.php/you-are-all-chis-angels-thank-you/

i have to tell you - when my husband and i were with chi not long ago we could tell he did NOT want to be there any more... any time we talked to him about getting him out of there or joked about throwing him over our shoulder to jack him from the hospital.. he SO reacted! so this is really what he wants. he looks great.. he really does.

read mae's blog - you will see our brother is making progress... he is so damn strong! keep your faith in that and please keep your prayers, positive thoughts and everything else you are doing going.. cuz it is working!

ryan and i are going back soon... shit we may not come back.. but if you want to send him anything... email me thru the contact page on http://www.oneloveforchi.com

one love for chi, (thank you for making this happen you guys!!!)

I Think oneloveforchi's next step could be Searching for a doctor specialist who's a deftones fan and who's willing to help him recover for a minimun wage. Maybe more than one doctor, who knows? what do you think?
