This news is absolutely great but I have a question about it.

Based on the conversation Mae had with Chi, it sounds like he was fighting her when it came to cleaning his mouth.  Later you say, though, that it was the first time that Chi didn't fight Mae.

So does that mean he fought at first but then let her clean him?

Also, do you have any idea how often the other members of the band see him?

yes - once she asked him you are going to want your teeth etc.. he allowed her to clean without resistance.
