hello everyone...

i talked with momma j for a long time tonight... we have great long talks... mostly filled with stories of gratitude for all of you great people and the love and prayers you send that help beyond imagination. you all bring strength.. hope and faith at all the right times! thank you!

for an update... they did an EEG today and mae walked in during the process... she asked chi " how are you baby... how do you feel?" and chi tried to form words... he showed a lot of brain activity (via EEG readings)... enough for the person doing the EEG to ask mae to back away.

there are specialists who have run several tests to try and  find the source of chi's pain but they have all so far come back negative/clear. although that sounds like great news it still doesn't let us know where the pain is deriving from. he went thru episodes of tachycardia (rapid heart rate). we need to find the source.

the oxygen chamber... we need to get him in that chamber! it will help eliminate these set backs he is having. once they are able to get him past these episodes he will be able to start oxygen treatments.

momma j said to tell you all thank you so much for your generosity that helped in making the purchase of the oxygen chamber possible.

fortunately physically chi is in the best shape he has been in 20 years! besides his lungs dealing with the MRSA he is strong!

this is all i have for now but i will continue to update as i get news.

i knoooow.. it just sucks cuz until they figure out the source of this pain he is having he won't be released to a room where he will be able to get him in the chamber... the chamber is completely set up now which turned out to be a task and then these back to back episodes totally got in the way...

i mean it is good that so many tests are coming back that it is clear or negative.. it still doesn't tell us why he is having this pain... it just sucks.. i just hope they can just find it already.. treat it.. get him released from the "serious" stage and be on with it.

it's great brain activity it there.. for him to show great readings from the right side of his brain like the EEG showed when mae talked to him.. and for him to try to speak means his right side is working with his left.. awesome shit... and awesome that his organs are strong... but the rapid heart beat crap.... wtf is causing that?? until that is stabilized we can't get him into a position to start oxy treatments... argh....................  

anywayz.. of course i will keep you all up to date as i get news.. i post here always right after i update one love site...

send our brother chi some strength and ask the pain to leave him...

you are so welcome... you guys are helping more than you know... i tried to show momma j how to access sharing lungs but she just has so much going on you know... she reads one love site daily and i tell her all about you guys (SL) when we talk.. which is several times a day.... she is a strong woman but i tell you.. the strength she gets from us she says helps her thru this so much.... it means alot to her...

he is in good hands right now and specialists are working on the situation... my first reaction when i got the text from his mom that he was back in ICU the DAY before (again) we were going to start oxy therapy... i was just pissed... not at anyone in particular.. just at the fucking irony of it.. i mean his last trip to ICU was the day before we were going to start oxy. it is just time for chi to get cut a damn break already and rid him of these infections so he can just start the rehab.. it's obvious he is trying to communicate by trying to talk etc... but i still have faith... it was great that when i asked his mom tonight how his internal organs were doing she said healthy.. strong.

his body is just overreacting to the pain... and the source of the pain needs to be found before we can move forward.

but i feel your frustration and believe me when i say you are not alone. he is the coolest, strongest most patient guy... and it is showing right now...
