Been thinking a lot about Chi since I've read the news, I know them since Adrenaline came out, I was a big fan but I must be admit I kinda drifted away after White Poney came out. Coincidentally, a friend of mine put Adrenaline in her car stereo during some trip right before I learned about Chi's accident, so I checked out the S/T and Saturday Night Wrist after that and appreciate the evolution of the band, never understood and still can't understand why they keep on being labelled nu metal, this is so reductive....and so wrong!

Anyway, I so hope Chi will get well soon, I've been posting some encouragement messages regularly on the myspace page. He's been of my favourite bass player, love his screams and his stage presence is so powerful, fuck, his place is definitely not on an hospital bed, that guy must be on a stage, hair and bass flying in the air. Love that stage move by the way.

I was so sad when I first heard the news about Chi, it almost made me cry. Having loved Deftones for this many years, I sort of feel like they're family, kind of. since then I've been scared. Scared for Chi first of all and his family and his Deftones family. Then for the band and their future.
But I want to hope and pray - so please Chi, Abe saw you resenting being in hospital even in your coma - please stay strong and fight. We need you.

Of course people are worried about Chi.   Jesus Christ.  Do you see the 40 pages here... and the other post about him.. not to mention the TONS of messages on their myspace for just CHI.    But on the other hand, people do wonder about the album. 

Not trying to be rude.. .but if you care less about Deftones... why even be on this board.    Sorry that you viewed SNW as such garbage.   *sigh*

Hey I like Fireal.  But I don't count this board as even the majority of Deftones fans considering seeing their fans at shows... or alllll the messages on their myspace.    But to just say.. " I could care less about Deftones' and then have issue with some people wondering how this will all affect the album..
