I spoke to a professional lighting designer we hired to control some lights we set up and he toured with deftones in 2003 and did all there lighting on stage. he told me that he spoke with chino and chino said there is little improvement and chi can kinda make body responds when chi's father is talking and reading  to him thats all.

I just hope Chi gets (or really is getting) better. Regarding the whole mini-fight thing, I think it's important for everyone involved to realize this isn't easy for anyone. All of us are upset here, and I'm sure any skepticism just comes from not wanting to feel disappointment. No one means to be harsh just for the sake of it, the whole thing is fucked up. Devilinside, even though I know I asked outwardly for what you know (which you feel like you can't, I understand), I don't think you should stop giving us information out of anger towards anyone here, the whole ordeal is bound to leave some people upset and standoffish. I would encourage you to ask 1xuser to keep us updated as well. As much as it is in everyones control to take things with a grain of salt, you can't really expect it from everyone given the situation, and you're bound to run into people or comments that you don't agree with. In the spirit of Chi and of good will, I don't think it's worth it to hold the grudge--we should all just be more decent. Anywho, just my two cents.
