i know it has been awhile.. but i have been real busy keeping up with chi/website and my kids...

anywayz... that pic of mae's is actually and older pic.. chi looks even better than that now.

also.. sugar.. he is "awake" - he isn't in a coma any more. he has normal wake and sleep cycles. just wanted to clarify.

defsteve.. all of the international orders should have been marked as a "gift" so to avoid taxes/fees.. sorry you got slapped with that.. but glad you like the shirts.

chi has not yet started oxygen therapy. hopefully will soon. he hasn't had an episode in quite awhile now.. which is great.

thats great news Gina, I want more info, clarify what your saying, hes awake like you and me? can he speak?

not like you and i - but to say "coma" would be incorrect. he is in more of a responsive state.. he focuses on you... he tries to talk.. and he shows when he is uncomfortable or frustrated by making noises/gestures... so he is expressing himself. it is recovery time for him. physical, occupational and speech therapy.. oxygen therapy. hopefully everything goes well during his evaluation at uc davis and they will begin using different methods to help him make more progress.

the great thing is he is stable and is slowly being taken off the medications he was required to take to help control his episodes.

he is so strong.. he can do this!
