any news on the hyperbaric chamber gina?

I was just going to ask this

anothermarine

I know this is semi-unrelated, but the day I started lurking here for guitar tabs, one of Marines was sent to the hospital  If anyone could please pray for the family of Lance Corporal Pham of Saigon, Vietnam.  He had an aneurism after surgery and slipped into a coma and was pronounced brain dead at 1743 today, I and others would be very appreciative.

Jesus2Chino

For sure man.

Much respect,

very much so.. very anxious to see how it goes... this weekend it will start.. i am sure it will take them awhile to get used to using it etc..

i have read stories about people having incredible progress even after only 15 treatments.. i hope chi has the same experience.. but it may be several weeks before we really see progress...

would you mind posting links to some of those stories? i think it be interesting to read

here is one story:

QuoteWhile we normally breathe oxygen at a concentration of 21%, a patient in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber breaths 100% pure oxygen under pressure. This pressure allows for oxygen to diffuse into the cerebrospinal fluid and brain tissues at concentrations far beyond what can be achieved under normal atmospheric conditions. In other words, oxygen concentrations are increased to the point above what the blood could normally deliver to the brain, and the 'recoverable brain' cells are jump started back to life!

I have personally witnessed startling, unexpected recoveries in Dr. Neubauer's clinic and in our own. Florence , an eighty-year old woman, was recently brought into our center by her son after suffering a traumatic brain injury.  She was in a semi-vegetative state and on a feeding tube.  Her neurologists said her condition was irreversible.  After only 15 treatments, her mental capacity began to return and her feeding tube was removed.  Despite this achievement, her doctors then proclaimed that she would never walk again.  Once again, their prognosis proved wrong, after thirty treatments Florence has begun to walk with the aid of a cane.  Her condition continues to improve.

While hyperbaric oxygen breathed new life into Florence 's inactive brain cells, these cells needed to be retrained so that they performed properly.  To accomplish this task, Real-Time EEG Neurofeedback can prove to be an invaluable tool.  Invented by the renowned researcher and scientist, Dr. Margaret Ayers, Real-Time EEG Neurofeedback employs sophisticated computer processing to capture real-time imaging of the electrical activity of the brain.  Quite simply, neurofeedback gives your brain info rmation about itself and its performance for the purpose of improving and/or changing its performance.  Seeing an EEG is like the brain viewing itself in a mirror.  The EEG Neurofeedback machine gives positive feedback when the brain exhibits a good brain wave pattern; the brain learns and remembers how to exhibit only the good patterns – thus resulting in a retrained brain.

I routinely combine hyperbaric oxygen and EEG Neurofeedback with astonishing results. The synergy between these two healing modalities provides a cutting-edge, all-natural solution to a variety of neurological conditions.  What I mean by 'all-natural,' is that both these therapies work to enhance your brain's own ability to recover, renew, and revitalize.  Perhaps you or someone you care about can benefit from these powerful therapies.

and another....

QuoteA 2 1/2 year old boy was seen 1 1/2 months after a near-drowning episode. The child hit his head and fell into the swimming pool. It is not known how long he was submerged. The family was told that the child was blind and he presented in a persistent vegetative state with severe spasticity on the left side and hypomobility of the right leg. He was fed by PEG tube. Initial SPECT imaging showed extensive and symmetrical deficit throughout frontal, temporal, parietal and occipital lobes. After three treatments with hyperbaric oxygen therapy the patient began moving more, trying to speak, and "acting up" when angry. The patient began crying with tears for the first time after 16 treatments. After 26 treatments the patient was smiling, much more alert, laughing, crying, sleeping much better and laughing while dreaming. Following 34 treatments the patient was more aware, developing much more eye contact and was clearly not blind. To-date the patient has received 199 treatments and now sees clearly, is speaking bi-lingually, standing and taking a few steps. He is now able to eat and drink normally. He was given back a life.
