Not that it much matters I suppose, haha, but I just uploaded a couple cell phone pictures I had from a show a couple years ago (not sure which or where to be honest?). They're not great, as they were taken while jumping around and on a cell phone, lol, but it's still Chi. I can upload more of the other guys if anyone cares.

no sweetheart.. it is all for chi.. everything. his care and therapy is not cheap... really i would like to raise even more.. $100K+ and he is going to need it. his recovery is going to be a long road... he will in reality need even more than this...

just finished the benefit concert that i ve put for Chi In Bucarest -Romania
more than 300 people showed up and showed love for Chi..
all the money from the entrance ticket(1400 USD)are already in Chi s account

Jesusinabowlofdirt you have to relax and trust a bit. The fund has been endorsed by Chi's family, close friends, and the band--its legitimacy is no longer in question. Even if you have your suspicions, there's no reason to be outright rude and offensive about it. Have some consideration that this person has put a lot of time and effort into helping out another person, completely selflessly, and has worked very hard to even realize the goal of 20K. Perhaps if this whole deal hadn't been legitimized than your insults could be warranted. This is all for Chi, there's no need for name calling and finger pointing, I mean c'mon man.

hey - i just heard an inspiring story from chi's mom today... long story short... a friend of the family's mother was in a coma for 8 months.. she did nothing during those 8 months he said.. no spoken words, movement etc.. (chi has spoken, makes eye contact, tracked objects and move legs/arms). he said that all the things that chi is doing now is what his mother started doing just before she fully woke. that in itself was great to hear.. but another thing was that she made a full recovery and is back to her job as a teacher. the only issue she reports is that some times it takes her awhile to remember a word.. (i laughed and told jeanne that i already have that problem myself  )... anyway.. it was positive news... and she didn't even have the aid of oxygen therapy which literally speeds up the recovery process... chi will be starting this soon thanks to the funds we have raised via www.oneloveforchi.com.

also...jeanne said that today again chi tried to sit up... i think he is ready to get outta there!

hey J - actually it went a little different than that.. when i launched the site i started at $20K as an 'initial/minimum goal' - those words were used for a reason because if the efforts went well i wanted to raise much more for chi... because he will need much more. WAY more. in the beginning i never said what the funds would be going to specifically besides chi's medical care. i had not even found the portable units at that time.

his recovery will not be a short one.. and with insurance not paying... even with him being in a cheaper facility now.. money will go quick. so the cost of the chamber yes will be covered.. but there are other things that the funds will potentially go to.. like the actual doctor that specializes in oxygen therapy that will be assisting thru his whole treatment.. also for example if no headway can be made with his current insurance company then we may use it to get chi medical insurance.

for sure everyone has the right to know where these funds are going.. which is what i was trying to do in the first place.. let everyone know the first thing we are making happen for chi is the oxygen therapy. i will continue to let everyone know as the money is spent where it is going. not one penny had been spent until the chamber. chi's mother and i know we hold a great responsibility to all of you great people. this is someone else's hard earned money and it will be treated as so. (just to give you an idea.. jeanne refused to use the funds we raised even for gas for her car even tho pretty much everything she does in the car is something for him.. she said no.) everything is being documented and we will be held responsible to the penny. on the website there will be a break down of where the funds went because everyone has a right to know. jeanne said this from the beginning.. and we will both stand true to that.

so J - yes you are right.. people absolutely have a right to know and they will. everyone has my word.

as far as not understanding why other rock bands haven't donated.. you know.. i don't know.. but i won't let it stop me from pushing on. chi needs us and i won't give up.

i know that ming, chi's brother, talked to fieldy from korn the other day they are in talks on doing an event. but we still need to get the word out i think... raise awareness of chi's condition. there had been NO communication anywhere for so long until www.oneloveforchi.com happened.. we need to get people back in the loop.

el hefe.. the guy who did the event in romania.. he reached out to people he knows from faith no more and NOFX.. hopefully they can play an event with us. (if you read this el hefe.. you rock! thank you again.)

we just gotta keep pushing.. getting the word out. i am going to work on a press release today regarding www.oneloveforchi.com looking for bands to step forward for nationwide events..

I am surprised a lot of bands or at least members of other bands themselves are not donating a few bucks Chi's way. I mean it's Deftones. They have loads of friends in the music community especially rich and famous bands like Korn and Linkin Park. So I am surprised at that.
