If I remember correctly the coab with Maynard was set up with Chino, so it'll be Chino that'll ask him to play with, Maynard is not a guy who'll go "Hey can I play Passenger with you tonight?" while the one with Max was with the whole band so anyone asking Max is not an issue.

I asked Stephen about this one time I met him and he said maynard probably wil do it if Chino would ask him to, but he just doesn't ask it. He also didn't knew why..
And with the 2003 tour the crowd in Rotterdam also was screaming for passenger, but they didn't play it

head the flac-bootleg from spaceland? Digital Bath on there sounds better than a lot from 2001...same with lotion, sounds really good...head up much better than pinkpop 06...

only thing is, he doesn't go as intense like back in the day all the time no more...because if he would scream like he does sometimes all the time, his voice will break and sound like in 2003 again...

yeah i know..but he doesn't do that all that much anymore. he screams differently most of the time...to take care of his voice. He's not drunk/stoned anymore so he knows what he's doing he knows that what he was doing in 2003 was hurting his voice so bad he couldn't sing shit at that time no more...but he was to coked up to see that...

me and my friend got Chino and in turn a big part of the audience to chant "Maynard, Maynard" etc when they played in Berlin 2003. we shouted for Passenger every now and then and finally Chino said "yeah, I wanna play it too, but he doesn't" and then he started calling for him.

no luck though.

I don't think were knocking him as an artist. My ex is in the hollywood sence, she was invitied up to Maynard's room once, he openned the door with just underwear on and said, "so are we gonna fuck or what, that's all I want from you!". So yeah, I've heard some werid shit from him, but his voice is just amazing, not God, just taleneted.

i'm not even really crazy for his vocals, they can be kinda bland at times. meaning, nothing extremely unique about the overall tone of his voice, there's a lot of people that can mimic him. only album he's made that i really like a lot is mer de noms

nobody can mimic Chino, Ozzy, or billy corgan, etc. the voices are too unique
