Serj Tankian and The Mein Video

i never saw this answered. does anyone knows why Serj doesnt show up in the video? i think his voice is great for the song so he should take a part in it.

I like the song and the video. Except the parts with serj. Chino said in an interview that serj did vocals for like the whole song, and they only kept that lil part cuz the rest sucked.

mein was a bad choice for a single. i think the main reasons SNW didnt go GOLD was because the poor choice for the 2nd single, then no third single. after hole in the earth, they should have used "combat" as the 2nd single, then "kimdracula", then maybe "cherry waves". 4 good singles there, & it would have went gold i think. chosing mein(a good song, but not a single whatsoever), it's like they didnt want it to sell. then with s/t hexagram was an odd choices of a single too, it should have been needles & pins

if they'd just have me pick their singles they'd be all good

I think Mein is a great track and was a good choice for a single. Even though Deftones fans may disagree, Warner picked this track as it is relitively commercial compared to some of the other tracks and at the end of that day, singles are released as a taster for the album.
