YOU! Cake or DEATH??? - Eddie Izzard

GooniesNeverSayDie

I just saw Horse The Band and HeavyHeavyLowLow (and So Many Dynamos) last night at the Backbooth in Orlando. I hadn't seen either bands in over a year, so I was uber-excited. and I was not disappointed, they were both AMAZING! danny has more terrible tattoos, robbie was his usually awesome self on stage and Horse The Band were their usual asshole-selves on stage as well!

perfect show!!!

that tour is still going on for a while, so make sure you go catch a show, if you can. it's only like $10-$12!

Sorry for the lack of news and communication with everyone!

We have been working extra hard on our fourth album, 6 songs are completely finished and another 7 are in progress.
We should have the album which is currently titled "All Things Lost Below" completed by November/Early December which will make it nearly a full year in the studio by then. The release date will be early 2009, either late January or February and we should have a single from the album in October if we can all decide on which one it should be.

On the live front we will be announcing shows for Europe and the US shortly.
We will be touring in Central Europe in April and in Southern Europe in May, some of the dates have been confirmed already. Our p1 visas have just been approved again by the INS so we will be announcing some shows for the US West Coast for early December as planned and possible dates on the East Coast again in March.

Till we finish the album or have more news we will be out of signal range for a while!

excellent news from theprp.com:

Poison The Well will precede the upcoming May 2009 release of their new album with a series of 3 new 7" efforts. The first to land in stores will be titled "I / III" and will see a November 11th physical/digital release date through Ferret Music. It will feature the following track listing:
01 - "New Fast"
02 - "Purple Sabbath"
Production for the effort was done by Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Loustrom (Refused, Poison The Well). The series of releases will feature a hidden image which will be revealed when all three records are put together. Furthermore, none of the songs on the splits will appear on the groups forthcoming new album. As previously reported, Poison The Well will enter the studio in November to officially begin recording their new album with producer J. Robbins (Clutch, Against Me!).

So we can confirm that the new album is finally finished, we will have more news in the coming days on the release date (soon), track-listing and artwork.
The album will be self titled. We will be previewing some of our tracks on our myspace player shortly.

We would appreciate it if everyone could spread the word about the new album as we won't be able to do much press promotion this time around because we cannot afford to due to our equipment been stolen at the beginning of this year and some of us just recently being laid off from work. There is barely enough money to print up the CDs and to keep everything going as is, so it would be great if everyone could buy a copy of the CD when it is available.

We will also be announcing a whole bunch live dates, it will be something like this: Jan - U.K., Feb - Ireland, March ???, April - Central European tour, May - Southern European Tour .... plus more touring in the Summer and Autumn 09.

As for the USA, dates are still TBC for December, we will have an update soon to see wether this is going to happen or not.

And for everywhere else we are prepared to play anywhere once there is a realistic offer in place, we don't play for free or for meager money offers that don't even cover a hot dinner and then somehow be expected to put on a decent show. It costs €800 just to leave this island on the ferry!
