ok, this is for fans of Norma Jean etc.... the band is called OH, SLEEPER and they are from fort worth, TX. whenever people ask me what they sound like I say it's a mixture of norma jean, underoath and deftones, cuz they are at a technical level of norma jean, catchy like underoath and have this warm glow-y sound of the deftones about them. probably, cuz they are huge deftones fans (and also always play deftones songs for soundcheck haha!)

anyways, give them a listen, if you like. they aren't doing anything overly new and original (seeing how I could describe them using 3 already known band), but what they do, they do very well!

they are on tour right now (and then UK in sept with Underoath and then USA again). their van was robbed about 6 months ago or so and they lost everything (including their bags with clothes, ipods, laptops, phones and a huge part of their merch money) so they really need every bit of support!

I just saw them again last night and it was yet again an awesome show, which is why I felt like posting here today!

pps: their guitarist Shane lay (ex-btbam) and back up/second singer told me last night, that he is going to record solo stuff soon. it will basically be just folk/rock/acoustic songs. pretty basic. but he has a good voice, so keep an eye out for that in case you like his voice

I have it. all the songs on there are on the album as well. and they are only slightly different. a bit rougher on teh ep, a bit warmer sounding on the album, to match the rest of the songs on the album...
