i got into poker about 2 years ago when a few of my friends began playing heavily. actually i really pushed myself to play more often when my friend won over $60 thousand in a tournament about 2 months ago.

anyway. after just watching it on tv for the past years. and playing once and a while online (pokerstars). i decided to have my cousin jimmy to let me know whenever they are playing cards at his house.  its great because my cousin is my manager at work, so i already know all the people who play since we all work together.


anyway i've played 2 times so far. and so far i've already won twice. tonight i just won 150$


i figured this would be a nice place to stroke the ego. while also making a poker thread

Hey.. it's defintely a game and not a sport but it is awesome. I've been playing seriously for 4 years.. yes I'm part of the Moneymake Effect.. It's the one game where no matter how skilled you are you are still not a guarantee to win. I play home games, Full Tilt and at all the Phoenix area casinos..

I play Full Tilt Poker when I can, and got to play my first real game at a friend's house.  Came in 2nd.

The PBA is actually pretty big.  Believe it or not, I used to be a pretty good league bowler.  When I was in the 8th grade I had a 180 average and a high game of 254.  Peoples said this guy might be on the tour some day.  Then fucking military school ruined it for me

Dude, I was in a league too!    I only did it until 8th grade.  Cuz then in High School I thought it was teh lamez.     My high game was 247.   I have my very own ball and everything.   But my fingerholes would need to be redrilled.   =o(       I've actually thought about joining a Friday night league....yannow.. something to do.   Plus it's fun.    I just meant that  you see poker on TV.. you see Nascar... you see baseball... football... on and on and on.   BUT rarely do I turn on the TV and see Bowling...
