Nerdcore ?

So i was reading a music mag and it went on about the up and coming genre nerd core

Nerdcore - Is described as "sterotypical" nerds making elctro/dance or Rocky elctro while singing about nerd subjects eg star trek . Maths . And dressing up as nerds in genral

I was just wondering if anyone actually listins to "nerdcore" ?
Although it couldve been just a ploy to get me to read the magazine

this is just what happens when not a scientific community but  instead kids from music magazines talk about their business in a very unreflected way.

it is a main minus on every classification of genre. you are never sure where its within one genre or steps into another.

the consequenz should not be to create hundreds of new genres
