nu-metal... *sigh*

They are never going to get rid of this label are they?
If they did something to that style, they've stopped doing that after Adrenaline.

Great to see deftones up there..suprised to see snot, they're not nu metal at all! Of course, no one can ignore the self-titled korn record!

The streets have gone dark. They've been dark for days. We board up the house. Hide upstairs and wait!

Wow, Pulse Ultra made it to the list??? The bassist of Pulse Ultra is now in Scars On Broadway. Anyway, L.D. 50 is a great album but Static-X? Rammstein? Mushroomhead?

American Head Charge
Five Pointe 0
Cold's first album
Dry Kill Logic
ill Nino
Crossbreed
Primer 55
Taproot - Gift (yes what a great record this is, even today)
And maybe even Machine Head - Burning Red???
Korn - Follow The Leader should definitely be there

Fuck it.

deftones: fathers of nu metal, lawl

static-x is not, the great majority of magazines have stupid journalist's that know a few bands and feel themselves like "the masters"

Who would be in your Essential nu-metal list then?

think the same you posted above except for american head charge i dont think they would be in, there are some bands that never had listed cuz of the charts but they ruled in underground lawl

I still listen to Taproot on a regular basis.  All of it is pretty good imo.

Taproot supported Deftones at London Arena with Linkin Park. Both a waste of valuable support time.
