you know its wierd, this past wednesday i had a dream where i was talking to a friend about the LHC, and in the dream i was saying "yeah they should finally be testing it really soon, actually i think its today" and i dont remember the rest of the dream but i woke up at almost the exact same time as when they tested it.

ok, why are we still alive?

they havent actually collided any particles yet. turns out a transformer malfunctioned during the initial test and no one bothered releasing that info until a week later, so theyre currently working on that. The machine has cooled back down to optimal operating temperatures (about 0 kelvin) so I assume it will be up and running again soon.
