Aye, while the movie is great, the book is even better. Same thing with Trainspotting, highly recommended.

where's the love for natural born killers?  that was a pretty drug-fueled movie.  and as far as trainspotting, i started reading the sequel, porno, recently.  not as good as trainspotting i don't think but i guess it's still better than anything by teri woods.

both good movies. spurn and fear and loathing also good. try fast sofa, permanent midnight...

Requiem for a dream is a work of art.  One of the best movies I have ever seen.

Trainspotting....was ok.  It was at least entertaining.  I realize the two movies are both about heroin addicts.  But other than that, I cant even see comparing the two.

Spun was ok too.  I mean it was really funny and entertaining in some parts.  But once again, not on the level of requiem for a dream.

But yeah Fear and Loathing is also one of the greatest movies ever.  I have not picked up the book , even though I have wanted to for years.  But it is just a very unique brand of comedy.  I didn't think I would like "where the buffalo roam"  but I actually liked that movie too.  Not as much as fear and loathing.  But its worth checking out.
