Deftones in New Rolling Stone!

I'm not sure if you know this, but the Deftones are in the new Rolling Stone (Issue #1051 - "Best of Rock 2008")  There is a picture of them playing at Stubb's BBQ in Austin, TX (pg. 37).  The picture can be found online as well: http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/20200609/page/4

you can totally tell that's the deftones.  the lighting, for one, is from their 2004 club tour.  second, you can clearly make out chi, steph, and chino in the pic.  seems clear to me

sorry for the confusion - the only reason they're in it is b/c stubbs was named one of the best venues by Rolling Stone.  so they printed a picture of the venue, and the band playing on stage is the Deftones.  sorry - no news about Eros in the magazine.

why do you hang out on this board when you clearly have some negative feelings about the deftones?

anyways, chino is one of the best writers and singers within the past ten years.  incredibly underrated though.  he's also on of the most charismatic frontmen out there.  definitely knows how to work a crowd.

sweetheart, i beg to differ. 

1.) i'm not going to go in his physical appearance b/c A.) it's totally irrelevant and B.) he looks totally fine.

2.) i won't bore you with lyrical examples but "same old taste, just new injury"  pretty much says it all...and the imagery of rx queen is worth a look.

3.) the man puts everything into his shows with style and charisma. 


i really have no need to defend the band.  i think their next album is kinda of do or die...and i know it will be excellent.  show some faith!
