That song is one of the best on RIP. Its a shame that it is underrated. So is Rust in Peace (track). I personally think that RIP > Peace Sells

the music is much more important than the lyrics.

I tend to not so much disagree as be opposed to the fact I place more importance on the contribution of lyrics in making a good song.I love some songs and bands yet hate the lyrics, Limp Bizkit being a prime example for me, where the lyrics completely ruin the music.

Then again it's obviously dependent on the genre and style....for example Jeff Buckley. Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and Dallas Green (eg City and Color)  etc, etc, to name a few from a large list, make lyics as much a part of the music as any other instrument.

I'm also a Hip-Hop fan where lyrics are everything.

Still...each to their own and I guess the import of lyrics are totally up to the individual.

i dont really listen to lyrics too much... like i'll hear vocals.. but i dont really LISTEN to what he is sayin. It's more-so the tone n' such of his voice... how it compliments the music. I have to really focus to know what they're sayin, hah.
