Comments: I did circulate this show a bit. I do see it on db.etree.org. Again, a typical cassette show for me. I was in the back of the Pavillion or the lawn for this show. I can't find the ticket stub.

The Godsmack show will be uploaded on Saturday. Tomorrow's show is the Drowning Pool headline set from 2001-09-04.

I'm trying to go in chronological order but there will be a gap in Sunday's release for a Savatage show from April 2001.

*******************************************

Welcome to my master series. I am transferring all my masters from CDs to an external drive. There will be a few reposts and a lot of unreleased shows. Lots of metal/rock/hard rock. They aren't going to be the best quality, but they are a piece of rock n roll history.

My history: I became interested in recording after seeing an ad in Circus magazine for people selling concert videos. I saved my babysitting money and bought a Motley Crue show from 1990. I was hooked.

I started snail mail trading in 1992 with ads from Goldmine. I amassed thousands of cassettes from 1992-2000. I then started trading CDs via the internet.

My first recording was in 1995 with a cheap Radio Shack recorder. In the summer of 1996, I ordered a Sony TCS 580V from J and R's Music world in NYC. I bought a Sony MD recorder in 2002.

The collection I amassed from the 90s was deposited in the local garbage dump when I moved in 2008. We needed to relocate immediately and there was no storage space at our new apartment. Gone were all my masters and rare shows. I kept the CDs. They are easier to store. Now it's time for many shows that were never traded to see the light of day!

As I tell my two year old son: Share Share it's only fair. If you have masters, share them!

Filmed by Terry
When I met Terry He was using one of the 1st Mini DV's a pistol grip style Sony DCRPC1
I think I remember talking with him about past cameras or somehow it came up
through conversation that Adam Jones (tool) once had complimented him on
his choice of lense after Terry had filmed Tool in 1992. The first camera that
introduced professional optics to video camera was the Canon L1 in 1991.
I am cautioning a educated guess here but I am 70% sure for this DEFTONES and his many
earlier shows he was using Canon L1.

Setlist:

Bored
Nosebleed
One Weak
Minus Blindfold
Root
Lifter
Teething
7 words
Birthmark
Subliminal (Suicidal Tendencies cover song)

Root V2 is, along with Nosebleed, from the demo tape produced by Ross Robinson.  :)Fist is also from RR's production. that's why I included it, but I sould remove it since its on the album

As for the other songs, thank you! I totally forgot about those early covers... ;D

@httk: I listed it as "Guest" but  its titled "Gift" also. Its hard to choose names sometimes because some tracks got more than one. same with Quirk and God's Hand

Link for Milk and Night Boat anyone? :-\

There`s both versions of Gift missing, and of course a whole lot of Deftones random and underground recordings... anyway, good luck with that! :)

Aight, thx for the links! :)

@HXGRMWORLD: Yeah, I think there are a lot tapes that exist somewhere in random basements... It's a pity that we don't have everything and it will probably never see the light of the day... At least there is some stuff. I enjoy listening to both the new stuff and those old gems

What show is the live version of Birthmark from the YSTB single from? And anyone have a mp3 download for it? I keep listening to it on Spotify, sounds amazing.

sooniletugo

Yeah I suppose. Wish it told you when it was from, but ah well doesn't matter. Cheers. And thanks for sharing all the awesome videos on YT. I just bro-fisted you via your sig.

sooniletugo

Wiki says it was released October 28th which might be right. And Chino says at the beginning "Now I know I got a lot of old friends here, that's good to know. This one's for you." Kind of makes me think it's from a festival but that's just a guess. At that time they were opening the encore with Birthmark I'm sure with no introduction. The live tracks on the HITE single were from a fest too.

asshole

does anyone got the Diamond eyes single?
I love me some Vinyl.
