Same, I've been watching the videos and they seem to have gone back to the Grind/SludgeFactory style.

Im seriously pumped for the release. i don't think they're pissing on layne at all. I saw them in Sydney at the Soundwave Festival at the start of the year. William was awesome. people were yelling out "you're no Layne" and Jerry replied "we know...he's alive"

Jerry Cantrell's last solo album was the shit.  It's a shame he had to release it through the worst label known to man--Roadrunner.
