Not much. My buddy just gave me a tape recorder the other day so I'm making a noise tape with the ambient sounds of The Blob (1958 and 1988) and some other random sounds. I haven't decided exactly what I'm gonna do with the tape yet though. I'm thinking I'm gonna layer it with a stethomic track too but I am just not sure yet.

This is for my tape release on my friend's tape label called FEAST.

A buddy and I are currently scheming such as a way to pick up some betties that we don't know and invite them to a party we are throwing just to get to know some betties and hit on them.

And no, it's not The Blob. I broke my tape while (purposefully) fucking up the actual tape. So I gotta figure out wether or not I can fix the tape before that song can actually be recorded. All my recordings are on that tape.

You can get splicing tape at any camera store, barring that clear scotch tape works fine. just do a small peice on both sides of the tape (i used to work in a movie theater and had to splice film all the time when i ran projectors). try not to leave any overlap, you want the edges of the scotch tape to line up as close as possible to the edge of the actual tape. hope it helps

The problem is that it broke right at the end and not the middle. It's a mini tape and it isn't held together with screws, so I can't just open it up and do that, nor can I really thread the tape in and somehow attach it back to the spool.

oh. the case doesn't use plastic clips to keep it togther? i know they sell shit to recover that stuff, not sure how expensive tho

I don't really see any way to take it apart without breaking the plastic.

you could string it through the heads and play it and rerecord it on a different tape. might help to have an extra set of hands if you attempt

I fixed it. I slightly broke the tape case, but I put it all back together without too much damage, so I'm happy.
