listening to the guitar sound from the eros clips, it sounds very heavy with 8 string and all.and according to chino eros will be more uptempo so maybe it will be as heavy as s/t in the sound but a faster record.
will eros be as dark? maybe not.  but i sure hope so

Yeah, I'd just like it out.   I'm starting to get so excited over other bands... because they have CD's coming out.. and really not any news from the D'tones camp.

i gotta give them a break this time, because what happened to Chi. i knew it was sure to delay the album bigtime. understandable. if that never happened, it would probably be out by now, or like 2 or 3 weeks away from it's release date. if it comes out this year at all i'd be suprised

I mean, yeah the cd doesn't get released, and that's pretty annoying, but hey Deftones are Deftones right ?

originally it was september. then it was january. even in the frank interview (done in september) he said it just needd to be mixed and mastered. i do understand about the chi incident, but atleast some news... it seems like its been thrown in the garabge for now

im pretty sure after their first show in awhile, they will give us news about a upcoming tour and we will get some news about a release date ...  i think it will still be released this year for obvious reasons
