The album has to be mastered by now.

it doesnt HAVE to be mastered, it's deftones, it's probably not even mixed yet. since Chino said they finished mixing i figured the exact opposite. ya gotta think in a "deftones" frame of mind, if they say it's done being mixed that really means they're having major problems & it'll be delayed longer.

why...why would they lie to us like that?

pisses me off when places put release dates without any confirmation, just gets false hopes going. i'm still betting late march earliest

i wonder where they get these dates, do they just make them up?

I have checked Play.com a couple times for tentative release dates on Cd's and they are sometimes right. Of course, its probably all wrong. Abe said Jan and the 26 is a Monday I think.
