For all the torrent releases that came out today (they all have "YSB" in the track names), the tracks range from 255 to 262 kbps, all tracks differ. Is that still the final real ripped version even though it's not 320 like the leak was??
If so, is it even better quality than the leak we had?

this will out-sell SNW hands down. it's much better handled promotion wise and from what i've seen personally around my town, it seems to be catching the ear of a lot of people. i'm glad to see old friends who had pretty much written deftones off to really embrace this album.

I saw that Diamond Eyes leaked a while back. What can a band do to try and stop this happening?

Nothing. [laughs] Nothing. It's inevitable it's going to leak at any point. I mean, ours happened to leak two months early, which is a long time. It's pretty much understood it's going to leak a week to two weeks out. That's pretty much common. You can do nothing. It's just the way of the world we live in. You try your hardest to protect it. The main thing is man - shit, you can't lose sleep over it because it's going to happen - the main thing is we always wish is that our album [if it leaks, is] complete. The one that's out there now wasn't even complete. It was mixed, but it wasn't mastered. That's the most frustrating part. But - what do you do? It's been out for over a month now. You just roll with it. The leak is not sonically how [the finished product] sounds, and it's very frustrating when something that's not done gets out.
