I will be back in okinawa in about 10 days.  Where my beer choices are limited to about budweiser, miller light, and a japanese beer called oreon.  Which pretty much taste like budweiser.  What do you guys think.  Should I just stick with vodka and not spoil my first beer in forever on the cheap nasty shit.  Or should I just suck it up and down the piss?

If any of you can get you hands on this stuff, I'd recommend it. I'm a fan of the lighter wheat beers especially in spring/summer time.

When we showed up they then informed us that for some reason a girl is never supposed to drink beer from a green bottle.  I had never heard that but they were dead serious about it.

Did they give any reason why? I've heard that before and maybe it was from you saying it once before but I'm just curious. Is there some sort of old myth that goes along with it. It's baffling to me...I <3 beer in green bottles.
