As u kno they're closely linked 2 deftones, bein based in sacto, playin same venues, jonah matranga bein on a number of b-sides and of course they did savory, the jawbox cover with chino, abe and stef (playin bass - weird) but what do we think of them?

i've only heard water and solutions and i like it, very similar to a lot of d early emocore stuff that was goin round in 90s (i aint talkin bout d shit emo we get now)

Dude, Far are one of the greatest (IMO) post-grunge, post hardcore, what ever you want to call it, band.

Shaun Lopaz was the guitarist.

Check out Tin Cans With Strings to You - masterpiece.

Some say that they (jona in particular) were responsible for Emo...I say who cares, they where just a brilliant rock band!

it seems a new far thread pops up every few months but that's a good thing because it means more people are discovering them

but yea far are one of my favorite bands if not my favorite band. i notice 'water & solutions' is the album everyone seems to discover them with and it's an amazing album but as stated by marty 'tin cans with strings to you' is another great album, and they have a bunch of stuff they released before getting signed to immortal/epic as well. 'sweat a river, live no lies', 'listening game' (my personal favorite), 'quick', 'soon', as well as a bunch of covers. jonah and shaun's solo stuff in all their various bands are awesome as well.

I like Far very much.
Water and Solutions contains great songs, along with I Like It and Mother Mary (my favourites).
