I quite like a band called We Made God at the moment. Not really post-rock but they are from Iceland, the singer sometimes plays his guitar with a violin bow and yes, they sound like Sigur Ros meets Deftones. Album should be coming out mid Feb...

anyone wanna recommend something that has soaring melodies akin to sigur rós?  i guess more specifically slow and dramatic, but not quite depressing, with vocals preferably.  i'd settle for a ( ) clone.
