Do not worry I will say it :)
Its fucking boring and shitty.
When is he going to re release The Fragile on HD Deluxe Edition?
Also when are we going to hear new actual music from NIN?
Call me Ballbreaker but I dont want any other shitty project like HTDA or another Soundtrack bullshit.

Deftones-argentina

Actually I enjoyed it a lot. despite being very simple, it's a nice collection of pseudo-ambient tunes to hear while doing something else that needs focusing.

Absolutely. Furthermore, it's free. Trent keeps on giving away free music and letting everyone enjoy his music. I can't complain :/
You move like I want to.

Not to mention it's a soundtrack for a movie.  I think it sounds great as such.  I'd love to have more movies scored by Trent.

Pretty Hate Machine is being Re-release. I wonder if The Fragile is next?

Jerry_Curls

It's Halloween month and I'm into NIN again.

I love his more dancey tunes that are similar to like Psychic TV or Kraftwerk ( Sin and Ringfinger ) wish he would go back to his dance roots. Although, I still enjoy his new shit.
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

I saw The Social Network a couple weeks ago and for those that think the soundtrack is meh, I think you should see the movie.  I honestly think the soundtrack did an incredible job setting the mood for a lot of the movie.

Never really gave With Teeth a decent chance until lately. It's gotten a lot of crap from fans, but I think it's a phenomenal album...all the way through. Great flow.

Am I the only one here who really loves that album?

to be honest I've always thought With Teeth was the last great album they'll ever release. Year Zero was a step down from that and Ghosts/The Slip was garbage.

With Teeth always reminds me of hurricane Katrina, listened to it alot then.

Obviously you've never heard songs from Ghosts/The Slip live. That will change your whole view of those two albums. I was not a fan of YZ/Ghosts/The Slip, and everyone here knows I'm a die hard NIN fan,but after hearing them live,I fell in love with them. Sometimes live is all it takes to bring on a new appreciation for something. I absolutely LOVE Ghosts. At first I was like what the fuck is all this instrumental shit, and I put it on the back burner, but then after seeing it live,I started to listen to it more, and it's almost like a soundtrack to your life. It's badass.

Awitha_Teetha is on the bottom half of my favorite NIN albums....I do not care for The Collector, but Right Where it Belongs is fucking BRILLIANT!!

Trent Reznor discusses HTDA, NIN, film projects

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor recently took to NIN.com to address his current happenings and future plans with the following update:

"What a surreal week, capping of an equally surreal few months! Thank you all for the support and kind words throughout. I need to once again point out the reason that score worked so well was David Fincher. We were simply executing his vision and it was an honor and an eduction working with him. Which brings me to: The Girl WIth the Dragon Tattoo.

Atticus and I are hard at work scoring David's next film, which will be opening this Christmas. We've been composing quite a bit of music for this and have just begun to see some of what's been shot. Trust me when I say this film (and of course the music!) will not disappoint.

Perhaps I misspoke on the red carpet or wherever it was I said the new How To Destroy Angels record is finished – it is not. We've been working since last summer on it and are due to mix it this summer for a fall release. We've spent a lot of time experimenting and finding our own sound and identity this time around and we're very happy with the results. The three columns of things I'm currently funneling music into – HTDA, NIN and film work – I believe will start to make more sense to you (and me) as everything unfolds.

By having a few different outlets for my work I'm finding more inspiration within each one. No, Nine Inch Nails is not dead and I plan to focus on that next.

And finally, I am friends with Timur Bekmambetov. He's an interesting and very talented director that caught my attention with his film Night Watch (check it out if you haven't). He asked me if I was interested in scoring his new film he's doing with Tim Burton entitled "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter". I was familiar with the book, read the script and it felt like an interesting challenge as a composer – very different from the Fincher films. While discussing the film with Timur he started gently pressing me to play a small role in the film.

The idea was a cameo-esque role that would be kept under wraps and be a surprise around opening night. I was considering this when I awoke a few days ago to the news I am now STARRING in ALVH (which is obviously not true). Fuck. We both apparently forgot the internet existed AND THERE ARE NO SURPRISES anymore.

So... do me a favor and act surprised, OK?"

NIИ is not dead !!!!!!!! =D !!!!!!!!
I cant wait for new stuff.I dont care for HTDA but Im so glad he is gonna focus again on NIИ
