Deftones - Pink Floyd Influence

After a brief discussion in the Ohms thread on Pink Floyd's influence I started to dig deeper and found out there are so many more connections that I felt it was enough to start a new thread on it. It's a great band to be influenced by, and I thought it would be appropriate to have one central place to discuss and really just collect any relevant information pertaining to; so post any other connections you may know about here.  So far I have:

If you think about it, Knife Party's section with Rodleen is very reminiscent of Clare Torry's section in The Great Gig In The Sky by Pink Floyd. That part always reminded me of it.

For Saturday Night Wrist the band enlisted Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd producer) to work on the record.

From Minerva's Wiki page:

In article #5, there's no mystery here; the album being compared to something in the style of Pink Floyd in the year 2000 is quite normal, just as the album was compared to Radiohead's album, etc. In article #6, it always tells the same story, lol. @ 1:38:56, the BBC link is already down.

Abe's part at 00:42 shows a strong influence from the album, much like Pink Floyd is for many other bands and artists. Whether it's a natural influence or more of a cloning influence, they often end up incorporating aspects of it into their music.

I know we're talking about Deftones, but two Crosses songs from the first album - 1987 and 1994 - have HUGE Pink Floyd vibes.

Also, the Hearts/Wires intro always felt pretty Floydish to me.

Certainly, C M is also inspired by Pink Floyd in their other projects, not just in Deftones. It may be more evident in Deftones, 4 sure.
